Who We Are

The First Amendment Protection Partnership (FAPP) stands to protect the first amendment right for all Americans, regardless of politics, age, or background. FAPP's goal is to stand as a uniting force against government imposed restrictions surrounding freedom of speech, including but not limited to, censorship and surveillance that threaten the core of democracy.

Why We Exist

  1. To protect the most fundamental principal of the United States: Freedom of speech
  2. Without freedom of speech, everything the USA stands for collapses.
  3. Government overreach is bipartisan
  4. Our mission isn't to pick sides or argue for any group, but to stand for the right of all Americans to have the ability to aptly express themselves, regardless of politics, age, race, or identity.
  5. Privacy is a part of true expression
  6. Forcing American citizens to identify themselves to the government to access information violates both the First Amendment, and global human rights standards. We stand to stop this growing precedent.

Principles

  • Nonpartisan, nonviolent, and absolutely focused on free speech.
  • We defend speech we agree with and speech we hate, because protecting only “popular” speech is not protection at all.
  • We oppose censorship by government, corporations, or institutions that act as arms of the state.
  • We welcome anyone — left, right, center, libertarian, apolitical — who shares our commitment to free expression.

TD;LR:

No matter politics, age, race, identify, or background, our mission is to end the growing suffocation against the first right amendment for all Americans. We stand for ALL people in the fight for freedom of speech and protection against invasive government overreaches that inhibit the universal right to freedom of speech.
